Yes, all PrereqCourses.com courses are provided regionally accredited universities.

Do all these course credits transfer to my graduate school?

All of the courses come from regionally accredited schools, which is the highest level of accreditation.

How long does it take to transfer the credits?

We work with our college partners to have your credits transferred within 3 business days from your request.

What colleges are these courses from?

All of our courses are from regionally accredited partner colleges and universities. Our primary partner is Upper Iowa University.

Returns & refunds

What is your refund policy?

You need to cancel the course, or courses, fifteen days before the starting date to receive a full refund.

Can I get a refund once the course starts?

Once the course starts, as you have taken a seat in the class, we do not offer refunds.

Courses & General Information

When do I receive my grade for the course?

You will receive your grade via email 7-10 business days after you complete the course.

Are there assigments for any of the courses?

Yes, all of our courses have assignments that will be counted towards your final grade.

Is there an academic calendar for these courses?

All of our courses are 5 1/2 weeks or 7 1/2 weeks. Our courses run every 2 months.

Can I send my transcript to my school or employer?

Yes, you can simply complete a transcript request form and it will be sent within 3 business days.

What is the format for the courses?

These are all asynchronous, totally online courses.

Can I take these courses while I am still in college?

Yes, you can take these courses anytime, and have them transferred anytime.

When is the last day I can register for a course?

You can register up to 7 business days before the course starts.

Is PrereqCourses.com a regional college?

No, all of our courses are provided by partner colleges with regional accreditation.

Can I speak with my professor?

Yes, every course has a professor and student services advisor to support you during the semester.

How long does it take to register?

It takes about 2 minutes to fill out a simple and easy registration form. Then you are all set!

How do I access my courses?

You will receive an email from confirming registration in the course, as well as an email from our partner college, with course details and information.

Self-Paced Courses

Are self-paced courses assignment based?

Yes, 90% of your grade will come from your assignments.

Do I need to buy a textbook for the course?

Yes, UIU offers books for all their courses. We suggest renting them for 3 months; it’s an inexpensive option.

What if I don't start a course after I register?

From when the course begins, a student must complete at least one assignment within 60 days or the student will be withdrawn. In order to be re-enrolled in the course, there is a $125 fee.

How fast can I finish a self-paced course?

You can finish as fast as you want – fully on your own schedule.

How long do i have to finish self-paced courses?

6 months. If this time is exceeded, the student is automatically withdrawn. There is a $150 fee in order to reinstate for an additional 4 months.

How do I get my course reinstated after I have been withdrawn?

There is a $125 fee to re-enroll your course if you were withdrawn for not completing the first assignment within 60 days. There is a $150 fee to reinstate if you were withdrawn for exceeding 6 months.

Are there any tests in self-paced courses?

There is one final exam, worth about 10% of your grade.

When are the first self-paced assignments due?

You have 2 months to complete 1 assignment, or you will be withdrawn from the course.
