Statistics is required at many CODA programs as a quantitative reasoning prerequisite. In the DH curriculum, it is applied to evidence-based practice — reading and critically evaluating the dental literature, interpreting clinical trial data, and understanding oral health epidemiology. Statistics is also the fastest prerequisite to complete for most students — many finish in 4–6 weeks.
