General Biology is a foundational prerequisite at many CODA programs — typically required before or concurrent with A&P. It provides the cell biology and genetics foundation that A&P builds on. Some programs waive the requirement if A&P has been completed with strong grades, but most require it explicitly. Check your specific target programs before assuming Biology is optional.
